I’m so proud of Norwich Labour Party and my union Unison for today’s day of action in Norwich North against Police cuts and plans to get rid of all of our PCSOs. Also great to see support from Shadow Police Minister Louise Haigh and Clive Lewis.
In Norwich North and Norfolk we’re not just fighting to protect local policing. As Louise told me, if PCSOs go here without an almighty fight, it sets a tempting precedent for Chief Constables and Tory Police and Crime Commissioners all over the country.
